Raiders coach Lane Kiffin just met the media in Oakland. He said Darren McFadden, whom the Raiders took at No. 4, was his team's choice all along.
Interesting, since Kiffin said at two separate times in the past month that he didn't think the Raiders needed another running back and that he wanted to trade down or take a defensive lineman. Sounds like another situation in which Raiders owner Al Davis got what he wanted.
Interestingly, Kiffin said the Raiders will use McFadden as a receiver in some offensive sets. In another Raiders' note, Kiffin said the team will not force a trade today just to get another pick. He said if a specific player is available, the Raiders might try to move up. Oakland doesn't have another pick until the fourth round and has just four more picks.
