Could Long be available to the Raiders?

Rumors of Baltimore trying to move from No. 8 to No. 2 could have a major effect on what the Raiders do two picks later.

The word is Oakland likely will take Arkansas running back Darren McFadden at No. 4 if Virginia defensive end Chris Long is taken by St. Louis at No. 2. However, if the Ravens move up to No. 2 and take Boston College quarterback Matt Ryan, Long suddenly will come into play for Oakland, giving the team a tough decision to make. Long, of course, is the son of Raiders Hall of Famer Howie Long. Al Davis loves his former players. But Davis loves speed, too, and that's where McFadden comes into play. Should Long slip, this is going to be a fun pick to watch.

I am set up at Oakland headquarters, and with the Raiders being one of the more riveting teams to watch today, this potential wrinkle makes it even more intriguing.
