It could boil down to a battle between two AFC West teams for services of Boise State's Ryan Clady, who is now the top left tackle on most teams' boards with Jake Long signed in Miami.

Still, the run on tackles may not develop until after the top 10 picks. That's where the AFC West intrigue begins.

Denver and Kansas City are very interested in Clady. The Broncos have the No. 12 pick and Kansas City has the No. 5 and No. 17 picks, as a result of the Jared Allen deal with Minnesota.

It is probably too high to take Clady at No. 5 and the Chiefs will likely look to fill their needs on the defensive line at that pick, anyway. But with Denver, which could also take a running back at No. 12, possibly taking Clady, Kansas City may have to try to trade up for Clady. With six picks in the first 82 choices and a league-high 13 picks, the Chiefs will have the means to make a run at Clady.

In a division that will offer plenty of drama this weekend, a potential showdown for Clady could be an interesting storyline to follow.
