Will trade change Raiders' draft plans?

The Chiefs' deal with Minnesota on Tuesday night in which Kansas City dealt Pro Bowl defensive end Jared Allen could have an effect on what the Raiders do with the No. 4 pick.

At No. 5, the Chiefs will likely look for a replacement for Allen in the form of Virginia's Chris Long or Ohio State's Vernon Gholston. It could cause Raiders honcho Al Davis to reconsider his draft. The general consensus is that Davis, who has the No. 4 pick, will choose between Arkansas running back Darren McFadden, Long (son of Howie) or Gholston.

With the Chiefs hot for a defensive end, Davis -- whose team's biggest need is on the defensive line -- may decide to go away from McFadden and take a defensive lineman. Will Davis really let Howie's son wear red and white? It'd be tough for Davis to witness that, and because of this trade, don't be surprised if Oakland's draft priorities change.
