Revisionist history: The Druckenmiller Years

If you haven't checked out our list of the top 50 draft busts of all time, now would be a good time. The list inspired the folks at Niners Nation blog to look at Jim Druckenmiller's (No. 11) regrettable NFL career.

So, what if the 49ers had followed Bill Walsh's advice and selected Jake "The Snake" Plummer instead of Druckenmiller? Well, Niners Nation thinks it would've changed the course of the franchise. It might have also prevented the Dennis Erickson era.
