As you can read here, the Baltimore Ravens are very excited about new head coach John Harbaugh.
That point will be driven home even further today when Baltimore linebacker Terrell Suggs plans to report to voluntary meetings without signing a contract. Suggs was given the franchise tag by the Ravens this offseason as the two sides try to work out a long-term deal.
"I want to show my coach that I'm on board," Suggs told ESPN.com's John Clayton. "I wanted to show him that I have total faith in him. We've had a couple of phone conversation in which he said he was the new coach. He laid out his plans on where he wants to go. I've liked him from our first conversation."
Harbaugh has more good news this weekend: He will be throwing out the first pitch at Camden Yards on Sunday before a game between the Baltimore Orioles and New York Yankees. The Ravens coach recently said his goal is just to keep the pitch out of the dirt.
"I would say the odds [of throwing a strike] are good,'' Harbaugh said.
