Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said he expects his team to visit the Broncos for a mid-week workout prior to an exhibition game in Denver this August. The exact dates of the workouts and the ensuing exhibition game at Invesco Field at Mile High will likely be determined this week at the NFL owners meetings.

The Broncos visited Dallas last year for two days of combined practices before an exhibition game. Both Phillips and Denver's Mike Shanahan have said they enjoy the break from training camp and the chance to face another squad during camp.

The proposed workouts are expected to be open to the public at the Broncos' training facility. With Dallas a long day's drive from Denver, plenty of Cowboys fans will likely be in attendance, mixing with the usual Broncos fanatics.
