  • Veteran kicker Olindo Mare has chosen the Seahawks over the Broncos. Apparently the opportunity to work with special teams guru and bibliophile Bruce DeHaven was too much to pass up.
  • Is it time for Mike Vanderjagt to resurface in Denver? By the way, the Broncos will rue the day they lost Jason Elam. Mark my words.
  • The Pacman Watch continues in Dallas. T.O. tells Pac that Dallas is a great city as long as you "keep your head straight." My biggest concern with Pacman leaving Nashville is having to leave behind his soulmate and neighbor, George "Possum" Jones.

"You look at the track record he's had with quarterbacks, the numbers they've put up, where they've taken their game," Smith said. "I'm trying to reach my potential and play at the level I can play. I'm excited ... I have an offensive coordinator, a guy that understands quarterbacks, understands the fundamentals of the position. To have him coach us is a big opportunity."

  • If you're like me, you can't spend enough time in Miami Dolphins draft data bases. If you don't need the data base to know the club selected Baylor tight end Ronnie Lee in the third round of the 1979 draft, you may have serious issues.
  • A few teams might be in the market for a Studebaker. I don't watch as many Wheaton games as I used to, but I'm hearing good things about this kid.

Phil Simms, Mike Nolan, Mike Martz, Alex Smith, Pacman Jones, Mike Vanderjagt, Benji Olson, Olindo Mare
