The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have turned to former Cowboys second-round draft choice Antonio Bryant to bolster their receiving corps after he sat out the 2007 season. When last seen, Bryant was sitting out the final two games of the 2006 season for the 49ers because of his arrest for reckless driving and driving under the influence.
He was one of the most bizarre players I've covered. One moment he could be the happiest guy in the locker room, the next he'd be ready to fight someone. His most memorable moment in Dallas occurred when he tossed a sweaty towel on Bill Parcells' head during an offseason workout in 2004.
This eventually led to him being traded to Cleveland for Quincy Morgan, a solid citizen with questionable hands. In Tampa, Bryant will be reunited with former Cowboys teammate Joey Galloway. I hope the kid has sought help for off-field troubles, but at this point, it would surprise me if he made the roster.
