In addition to recently naming Brett Favre the "Greatest Man in World History Other than Jesus," Sports Illustrated is in the process of publishing a book called "Brett Favre: The Tribute."
Based on pre-orders alone, the book is already No. 1 on the Barnes & Noble bestsellers list. And since you guys have demanded more Favre coverage, Hashmarks is attempting to obtain the original manuscript, which reportedly contains several coffee stains from the magazine's star NFL writer.
After conducting several interviews this morning, I've been able to come up with the names of a few chapters in SI's book:
Chapter 7: "Someone's in the kitchen with Brett," written by Peter King
Chapter 12: "My favorite text message from No. 4," written by Peter King
Chapter 17: "The time Brett asked how my family was doing" written by Peter King
You have to admire the haunting cover of the book, which shows Favre pinching the collar of his Packers overcoat for no apparent reason.
