Brett Favre knows his limitations. Asked about possibly of continuing with the Packers in another capacity, Favre said he would not mistake his status as a license to weigh in with his opinions on all things Green Bay. He also stressed, accurately, that the things that have worked for him might not necessarily work for others, presumably Aaron Rodgers. I know from covering Matt Hasselbeck that he learned some of those lessons the hard way. Favre did things his own way, and it worked most of the time. But not everyone can approach the game the way Favre approached the game and still produce. He played on feel more than some, and he had the physical ability to make the spectacular play.
