While we're waiting for Brett Favre's plane to land in Green Bay, let's take a look at what the Philadelphia Eagles are going to do now that Randy Moss has re-signed with the Patriots.
Our pals at the The 700 Level did a really nice job of laying out all the options. It's sort of funny that they're turning up their nose at Lions receiver Roy Williams. I'm thinking Donovan McNabb might enjoy playing with Williams.
Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald is of course the No. 1 choice. Now that Moss is off the market, Fitzgerald has become the great white whale. I know for a fact that the Cowboys covet the talented wide receiver, but they can't handle the $27 million in guaranteed money that he would want.
OK, Mike Sando will be joining us shortly to live-blog the Favre news conference and I'll provide a lengthy commentary on the event later this afternoon. Stay tuned to Hashmarks if you know what's good for you.
And yes, I'm completely depressed about the choke job we pulled in Waco against the Aggies last night. Just devastating. But we'll remember that bush-league alley-oop that Donald Sloan pulled at the buzzer.
