Here are your Favre memories

During our Favre-a-thon today, I promised to post a few of your favorite Brett moments on the Hashmarks Big Board. I've scoured the comments and come up with a few of my favorites.

MNProp writes, "It was 1992 and the Packers were at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. Don "Majik" Majkowski injured a ligament in his ankle. First-year Packer Brett Favre entered the game only to fumble four times. The performance enraged the Packer faithful so much that they began chanting for Ty Detmer, another Packer backup, to enter the game.

"This story would be a lot better had he not hit Sterling Sharpe on a 42-yard bomb, setting up the game-winning touchdown pass on the next play. It is still fun to know that actual Packers fans chanted for Ty Detmer over Brett Favre at one time."

Qbissy0484 writes, "For me, it was either the Super Bowl victory or the Oakland game. For my mom, it was the fact that she had a healthy son. When I was a kid, I would never eat dinner on Sundays if the Packers lost. And in the late '80s and early '90s, that was often. But when Brett came along, I ate almost every Sunday. I enjoyed every bite."

From Nickolaus: "I've been watching Favre all my life and have never seen a player with a shorter memory. Never let a bad play derail him and always took the good in stride. That said, I oddly enjoyed the really terrible performances -- even as a Packers fan. Six interceptions versus the Rams, for example. Never had I wanted to strangle him so much, but at the same time, his actions made me realize that it's really just a game. He was beyond wins and losses.
