The Washington Post notes this afternoon that the Redskins don't even have a free-agent visit lined up, a departure from the typical offseason under Daniel Snyder's ownership. Vice president Vinny Cerrato said the Redskins would take a wait-and-see approach, and now we know the team wasn't bluffing. Conventional wisdom said the Redskins would take a look at Seahawks receiver D.J. Hackett, a big target who knows the offense Jim Zorn is installing. It's early and a lot can still happen, but so far Snyder is guarding the vault more closely.

Free agency, Redskins, D.J. Hackett
