Thomas signs with Cowboys; Long at podium

My colleague Len Pasquarelli has a story up about Dolphins linebacker Zach Thomas signing a one-year, $3 million deal to play for the Cowboys. We just talked to Thomas' agent, Drew Rosenhaus, in the hall for a few minutes. Details to follow.

Virginia defensive end Chris Long has taken the main stage. First time I've seen him in person. Scary how much his jaw looks like his father's. I think I'll ask him a really probing question such as, "What was it like to have Howie Long tuck you in every night?"

Right now, he's being peppered with questions about Bill Parcells and the Dolphins. I'll run over there now and see what he's saying.

Combine, Zach Thomas, Cowboys
