An iconic Favre moment

I'm having to write a column on today's games, but I'll drop in periodically to see what you guys are up to. We'll be watching Brett Favre's underhanded toss to tight end Donald Lee for the next 50 years.

That play pretty much sums up why he's the most beloved player in the game. Maybe one other quarterback in the league (you know who) would even attempt something like that.

It didn't look like Favre would be able to keep his footing as he scrambled/stumbled to his right, but then he spots Lee running alone and delivers the sort of throw you'd make to your 5-year-old kid.

In related news, Packers safety Atari Bigby single-handedly changed the complexion of this game. Yes, the Packers' first touchdown drive after the Seahawks had gone up, 14-0, was huge, but Bigby's forced fumble and two other huge hits stripped the Seahawks' offense of its confidence and brought the Lambeau crowd back into the game.

Stat I read in the local newspaper this morning: Favre has played in 47 games at which the temperature was at or below 34 degrees. He's won 42 of those games, and it looks like he'll make it 43.
