Mangenious is talking

I just had a great visit with Pittsburgh director of development Kevin Colbert. He had some intriguing things to say about Chris Long and the interview process. Jets coach Eric Mangini has showed up in an XXL Jets golf shirt and green windpants.

He looks really relaxed. So far, he's drawn more attention than anyone at the podium. From my vantage point, about 60 reporters have gathered to listen to him. He just pointed out how the Patriots and Rams have both bounced back from poor records in the past decade, and he hopes the Jets can do the same.

After appearing on Sesame Street and the Sopranos last offseason, Mangini is taking some time off from TV right now. Looks like he's put a little weight on. I would say at least 20 pounds since the start of the season.
