Tom Brady completed 3 of 7 passes for 23 yards during the Patriots' opening drive to a touchdown. That works out to 3.3 yards per attempt. He did help draw a 16-yard penalty with that pass to Benjamin Watson in the end zone (the Giants interfered, giving the Pats possession at the 1). New England won't complain abou the results, but it's clear Brady wasn't hot early. When they said "minor high ankle sprain" last week, my first thought was this: How can a high ankle sprain be minor? We'll have to see how well Brady can drive the ball downfield.
