Just talked to a high-ranking member of the Cowboys organization who said he would be shocked if Terrell Owens doesn't play Sunday against the Giants. Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said Monday that T.O. would be a game-time decision, but I think the club knows he'll be ready to go.
He usually speaks on Wednesdays, but we probably won't hear from him today because of treatments on his left ankle. In addition to spending time in his hyperbaric chamber, T.O. has been using the Dallas Mavericks' underwater treadmill.
He's undergoing some form of treatment almost every minute of the day. The people I've talked to at Valley Ranch think he'll be at about 80 percent for the Giants game.
In other Cowboys news, quarterback Tony Romo spent a good portion of Tuesday's off day at Valley Ranch watching film of the Giants and meeting with offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. He normally speaks on Wednesdays, and I'm sure someone will ask him about his recent vacation to Mexico with the Jessica Simpson family.
Much more to come.
