Punter gets a podium

There are 11 podiums -- or field risers, in media day parlance -- for players (and the head coach) who are in most demand. Suffice to say, giving one of the podiums to a punter is not usually warranted.

But Jeff Feagles is one of those feel-good stories this week, a 20-year veteran who finally gets his shot at the Super Bowl. He also spent four years as a punter for the Cardinals, so the local media has its angle too.

Thus, Feagles was at one of the coveted 11 podiums Tuesday. He was as surprised as anyone.

"I just go where they tell me," he said. "I think it's pretty cool."

Patriots punter Chris Hanson, by the way, didn't get his own podium.
