Strahan doesn't care about Super Bowl XXXV

Giants defensive end Michael Strahan prefers not to think about his team's 34-7 loss to the Ravens in Super Bowl XXXV. He said he's never watched a tape of the game, and wants to keep it that way.

"I don't even remember playing in the game," he said. "You kind of wake up the next morning and you are thinking, 'Man, we played in the Super Bowl?' I remember picking up the paper in front of the hotel door and it said, 'Ravens Win.' I'm like, 'We played?'"

Strahan and veteran receiver Amani Toomer have talked about this Giants team having a completely different approach.

"It's a different type of happiness than it was last time," Strahan said. "Last time was probably giddiness. This is, 'I'm just happy to be here,' and I realize that we still have one step to take."

The one play Strahan is still talking about from Super Bowl XXXV is former linebacker Jessie Armstead's 43-yard interception return for a touchdown that was nullified by a holding penalty. Strahan referred to it as the "worst call in the history of football."

"I'm here now seven, eight years later, and to be honest with you, I couldn't care less about 2000. It's over and  it's a totally different team."
