Rich Cimini of the Daily News provides some perspective on the last time Tom Brady's health was in doubt heading into the Super Bowl.

The New York Post goes with the subtle headline "Flowery Tom A Posy Patsie." The second paragraph of this TRIPLE byline story begins with, "The cocky quarterback for the undefeated* New England Patriots was caught hobbling to the West Village home of his gal pal, Gisele Bundchen, yesterday�- carrying a box of pretty little posies."

And no, I'm not the one who inserted an asterisk in the story. This is exactly what the New York tabloids needed to get a running start for the Super Bowl.

Newsday has finally given "What About Bob?" Glauber's blog�the placement it deserves. Also check out his recent column on the Giants' "It" factor.

From what I can tell, the Old Gray Lady turned its nose up to the Brady boot storyline, and simply accounted for it on its wild and crazy NFL blog.

In other news, Richard Sandomir says Tom Coughlin has toned it down for the cameras this season.
