Rough possession

The Packers went five-wide on two of the three plays on that possession. Giants defensive end Justin Tuck blew up the shovel pass to Ryan Grant.

Three completions for minus-4 yard on that drive for Favre. So far, the Giants are doing a great job of tackling. The Packers are the best in the league at running after the catch (RAC). And that's why the Giants have to send three or four players to the ball when the catch is made.

In other news, I thought we wouldn't see drops until the second half, but Amani Toomer is getting started early. The weather may have prevented him from trying to catch the ball with his hands.
