Greetings from LP Field

How do you know you're in Nashville? Our plane from Dallas landed last night at 10:30, and six of the 10 people sitting in first class grabbed guitars out of the overhead bin.

And remind me to never again waste an upgrade on a flight that lasts one hour, 19 minutes.

In unrelated news, Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth (hamstring) will start today. Tennessee lost all three games Haynesworth sat out, but beat Houston last Sunday, 28-20, when he returned. He was limited in practice this week with a sore hamstring, but defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz expects him to be at full strength today.

The Titans also placed safety Chris Hope on injured reserve and Calvin Lowry will start in his place.

Other Titans inactives: WR Paul Williams, WR Chris Davis, CB Kelly Herndon, FB Casey Cramer, G/C Leroy Harris, DE Sean Conover, WR Brandon Jones, DE Bryce Fisher

For the Chargers, linebacker Shawne Merriman (right calf) will start. He had three sacks last week against the Chiefs, but was limited in practice this week because of the calf injury. Head coach Norv Turner said he was 50-50, but Merriman was confident that he'd play.

First-round draft choice Craig Davis will replace Sproles (strained knee) on returns.

Chargers inactives: Charlie Whitehurst (emergency QB), CB Paul Oliver, RB/KR Darren Sproles, LB Anthony Waters, T Roman Oben, WR Malcolm Floyd, TE Scott Chandler, DE Luis Castillo.
