The Ravens are taking it to the New England defense on the ground. Willis McGahee's 17-yard run over the left side has given the Ravens a 17-10 lead. Kyle Boller took a huge shot on the previous play but he was still able to complete a 21-yard pass to Derrick Mason on second-and-9.

The pressure came up the middle, but left tackle Jonathan Ogden tipped off the play by taking an obvious pass-protection set at left tackle. Boller pounded the ground after taking the hit, as if injured, but bounced up and led the rest of the drive. Quarterback depth is an obvious issue of concern for the Ravens now that Steve McNair is on injured reserve. Troy Smith is the only other quarterback on the active roster.
