Lynch apologizes for throwing L.T.'s helmet

Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson accepted John Lynch's apology after the Denver safety tossed Tomlinson's helmet following a running play tonight. Lynch's reputation as a classy player led Tomlinson to give him the benefit of the doubt, Tomlinson said. Tomlinson has come to respect Lynch over the years, even playing in his golf tournament. It's been a frustrating season for Lynch and the Broncos' defense. The Chargers pretty much ran all over Denver tonight.
