Rivers, Chargers winning third down

Denver's Jay Cutler has attempted six third-down passes. The Broncos have gained an average of 1.8 yards on these plays. They needed an average of 11.8 yards for a first down on these throws. San Diego's Philip Rivers has attempted eight third-down passes. The Chargers have gained an average of 11.8 yards on these plays. They needed an average of 7.1 yards for a first down on these throws. Those numbers are through the first half. San Diego leads, 16-0.
