I'm taking a little break from blogging to actually watch the game and compare notes with Werder. I'll see if I can get Rosenhaus off to the side and get a T.O. update.

He told Werder a few moments ago that the Cowboys are still waiting for the results of the X-rays. I have a hard time believing that.

We'll try to find out more in the locker room. Jay Ratliff is obviously back in the game. He and DeMarcus Ware combined for a sack on second down and then Greg Ellis got one on third down.

Bumped into Ellis on the 10th floor of the team hotel this afternoon. He was surrounded by about 17 members of his family. Ellis played college football at North Carolina, so he had to come up with a lot of tickets.

Nice story by my pal Clarence Hill about local kid Chris Canty this morning.

Panthers center Justin Hartwig's return is doubtful due to a sprained right knee.
