Fans, players and coaches made a poignant statement by selecting Washington's Sean Taylor as a Pro Bowl starter at free safety. Dallas' Ken Hamlin is listed as the top reserve at the position for the NFC. Taylor died when intruders shot him during a robbery at his house. Hamlin's life could have been in danger two years ago. A fight outside a Seattle nightclub left Hamlin unconscious and with a blood clot on his brain. He rebounded to play last season.
