Had to step away for a few minutes to visit with agent Tom Condon. He was laughing about the fact that everyone is blaming Jessica Simpson for his client's poor performance in Dallas yesterday.
Actually, it was his partner Ken Kremer who recruited and signed Eastern Illinois' Tony Romo in 2003.
"I told him the kid wasn't even going to get drafted," Condon said. "And we were going to have to spend $40,000 just to send him to training. But Ken said he liked him, and it worked out pretty well.
Condon's clients include Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie, left guard Steve Hutchinson and defensive tackle Kevin Williams. He also has John St. Clair for the Bears.
