Saints trying to confuse Falcons with formations

I've seen Sean Payton use the double-stack wide receiver formation several times, but it still looks odd. A couple of plays ago, the Falcons were desperately trying to figure out who to cover out of the formation.

What's this? A sustained drive. Demorrio Williams had no chance covering Billy Miller on that seam route.

Touchdown Saints! David Patten did a great job of getting his left foot down on the catch. That was Chris Houston on the coverage. Six plays, 99 yards. Pretty impressive. And the key was that Drew Brees had plenty of time.
