Cheeseheads Invade Dallas

November 29, 2007 2:00 PM

We're expecting somewhere in the neighborhood of 5,000 Packers fans to show up at Texas Stadium tonight. More than 200 Green Bay fans showed up for Tony Romo's weekly radio show earlier this week.

I've always heard Packers fans travel well, but I'd be shocked if they outnumbered the Steelers contingent in 2004. It's the only time I can recall a visiting crowd making more noise than Cowboys fans.

The good news for Cheeseheads is that Dallas fans aren't known for being a hostile bunch. Of the four NFC East fan bases, the Cowboys offer the safest environment for wearing an opposing jersey.
