The NFL's decision to suspend this game seems appropriate not only because of lightning in the area. Sean Taylor's health is the most important story in the NFL tonight. Recent reports have been positive but also sobering. As the Washington Post notes, Taylor apparently flatlined twice during a seven-hour surgical procedure to repair damage done by gunshot wounds apparently suffered as Taylor sought to defend his family from burglars.
We will continue to blog from Pittsburgh tonight. The plan here is for the Steelers and Dolphins to stay in the locker rooms until 8:50 p.m. EST, or another 30 minutes. They will then attempt to warm up, providing we have no further delays.
