After being reminded how well Packers cornerbacks Charles Woodson and Al Harris are playing, Broncos corner felt the need to set the record straight.
Bly said he respects Woodson and Harris, but he doesn't think they're gaining on the Broncos' tandem.
"Look at our numbers," Bly said. "There's never been a duo like us. Champ, Woodson and I were All-Americans at the same time in college, so we've known about each other for years. But I just tell reporters to add up our numbers, and that's really all it takes."
If you're just going on interceptions, Bailey-Bly lead Woodson-Harris, 77-45.
One of the reasons Bly said the transition from Detroit to Denver has been so easy is because he was best friends with Bailey's brother, Boss.
"It was like second nature," Bly said. "From the first day I got there, Champ and I were good friends. People always want to know if I'm envious of him because he's known as the best in the game, but that's never been the case."
