Nolan steers clear of talk about father

Niners coach Mike Nolan fielded the inevitable question about coaching shortly following the death of his father. "I appreciate the question," Nolan said. "I don't want to make this about me, because it is not. Our football team lost for an entirely different reason. So if you don't mind, I respect your question, but if you would respect mine, I would rather just keep it on the team level."
