Niners get under Hasselbeck's skin

Former Seahawks quarterback Trent Dilfer once attributed the 49ers' success against Seattle in 2006 to San Francisco's ability to get under the Hawks' skin. We just saw that happen when Matt Hasselbeck appeared to challenge 49ers linebacker Jeff Ulbrich to a smack-down. The only way Hasselbeck wins that one is if Walter Jones has his back.

Seattle needs Hasselbeck to keep his composure. Instead, the offense bogged down and Seattle came away with no points.

I'm also wondering what Seattle was thinking with that pass that seemed to risk intentional grounding. Was it supposed to be a screen? Seattle hasn't been able to run screens with any consistentcy for years. That play was also from a two-receiver set, something Seattle hasn't shown much tonight.
