Giants keep even tone

Giants coach Tom Coughlin struck a balance with his postgame comments, acknowledging his team's four-game winning streak without getting too excited. That's the tone a coach wants to set in these situations and the players took his cue. Michael Strahan said the defense isn't fazed by some of the offense's turnovers because the offense is good on the whole. It's harder not to resent those types of errors when the offense isn't producing, he said. Players almost universally spoke about keeping things in perspective.

The Giants are in a very good spot right now. They get San Francisco at home in Week 7 before that trip to London for a date with Miami. They could be 6-2 heading into the bye, with a home game against Dallas waiting on the other side. I'd be stunned if they lost to the 49ers, but anything can happen in the NFL.
