I find it somewhat interesting that nine of the 14 games this weekend feature home underdogs. That seemed like a lot to me at first glance, so I conducted a little research.
Turns out this is the highest number of home dogs since Week 4 of the 2004 season. But if you're thinking of loading up on the home teams, you should realize that only 51 percent of home underdogs have covered since 2000. How many of those teams won outright? 36 percent.
