It's looking like Daunte Culpepper will start at quarterback for the Raiders in Miami on Sunday. Because of his long and awkward goodbye with the Dolphins, it's a game he's been daydreaming about.
"I'm a Florida guy," Culpepper said. "Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to play healthy in front of the people down there in Miami. I feel like now I get a chance to show them I am healthy."
As I've often told you, always fear the player with an ax to grind -- especially if it's punter Chris Hanson. Culpepper feels like he was treated unfairly by the Dolphins, and he has something to prove.
According to the Hash research department, scorned quarterbacks are 38-7 in games against their former teams over the past 12 seasons. I'll double-check that number later.
