If you think it's a coincidence ESPN's Ed Werder ends up with quite a few Nashville assignments, think again. The man loves his Country Music, so you can imagine how thrilled he was to bump into reigning Top Female Vocalist Sara Evans two hours before today's Titans-Colts game.
Evans, who claimed to be familiar with Werder's work, whipped Titans fans into a frenzy with her soulful rendition of the national anthem. Here's what Ed filed via text message shortly after Evans' performance:
"She wore an ultra-chic Vince Young jersey. Great pipes. Tempo so slow Wade Wilson suspension over when finished."
With lines like that, this man belongs in a studio. Until then, he'll keep trying out his material on Hash. Back in a few moments.
