Cowboys running back Marion Barber is particularly tough to tackle when Leonard Davis is grabbing the defensive tackle around the neck. Referee John Parry has assessed 16 penalties in this game, a high number, but there was no flag on that 17-yard run by Barber. I can't say for certain whether Green Bay would have made the tackle on that one -- Barber is a tough runner -- but that hook by Davis certainly helped to clear the way. The run put the Cowboys, leading 27-24, at the Green Bay 5 heading into the fourth quarter.
Green Bay just can't get the defensive stop it needs to put its offense in position to take the lead. WAIT ... just as I was going to post this, Terrell Owens drops the ball in the end zone and Al Harris picks it off. Unbelievable. The Packers get the ball back at their own 20, down only three.
