Aaron Rodgers' performance in this game could prove more valuable for Green Bay than the outcome of this game, at least for the long term. Brett Favre's incredible durability has prevented the Packers from finding out whether Rodgers has what it takes to become the long-term starter once Favre finally retires. With Favre sidelined by an arm injury, Rodgers has completed 11 of 14 passes (79 percent) for 130 yards and a touchdown against the Cowboys. Rodgers' rating is 129.2. He has the Packers competing in this game after Favre struggled. This is nothing but a positive for Green Bay over the long term.
