Hugo Alarcon (Lennox Academy): Alarcon had three hits in four at bats, which included a double and a triple. He also drove in six in an 18-0 shutout over Vistamar.
Jimmy Allen (Rancho Buena Vista, Vista): Three home runs in a week is impressive but three in a game? Allen teed off on Mt. Carmel (San Diego) pitching for solo homers in the first and second before bashing a grand slam in the sixth in an 18-7 San Diego North County Tournament victory.
Hector Avila (Narbonne, Harbor City): Avila earned his first career varsity win in a 13-0 shutout over Washington Prep of Los Angeles. He threw five innings, surrendered no hits and struck out eight.
Trent Frisbie (Central Valley, Shasta Lake): Went a perfect 2-for-2 at the plate with both hits for home runs in a 10-0 win over Anderson. He also knocked in seven of those runs.
Jake Garvey (La Habra): When the Highlanders needed a complete game, it was Garvey that supplied it, along with a key double, in a 4-1 victory over Troy (Fullerton) in Freeway League action.
Jeff Gogue (Cypress): With his coach planning to drop him to the junior varsity so he could get in some innings, a teammate's injury forced the 10th grader into a starting role and all Gogue did was pitch a no-hitter, striking out 10 and walking just two in a 6-0 Empire League win over Loara (Anaheim).
Chistian Koppenhaver (Bishop Montgomery, Torrance): Koppenhaver had three hits, including two dingers, one being a grand slam, in a 26-2 win over Cantwell of Montebello. His nine RBIs also set a new school record.

Christian Madrid (Schurr, Montebello): Madrid was a huge part of the 13-1 win over Montebello. He threw a complete game and went 4-for-5 with a homer, three doubles and three RBIs.
Tyler Matzek (Capistrano Valley, Mission Viejo): Ranked as the No. 1 player in the nation in the recent edition of ESPN RISE Magazine, Matzek followed up his no-hitter last week with a one-hitter to lead the Cougars to a 6-0 South Coast League win over Dana Hills (Dana Point). Vincent Piercefield (McNair, Stockton): Making his first varsity start, the sophomore hurler was one walk away from perfection as he walked one and struck out 12 while allowing just one hit in a 20-0 five-inning win over Valley of Sacramento.
Cody Smith (Santana, Santee): After hitting a triple, double and then a three-run home run, Smith stood just a single away from hitting for the cycle against Monte Vista (Spring Valley). Smith flied out and grounded out in his last two at-bats in the 16-1 victory.
Tyler Soto (Helix, La Mesa): Soto was unstoppable as he went 5-for-5 with 4 RBI as the Scotties buried El Cajon Valley, 18-6, in the Grossmont North-South Tournament.
Jake Stassi (Yuba City): When it comes to the Honkers, the Stassi name is quite well known as Jake Stassi opened TCC league play with a complete-game one-hitter in a 2-0 win over Woodland. He finished with 14 strikeouts and also had an RBI double to score Yuba City's first run of the game.
Ryan Stice (Grace Davis, Modesto): Moved to 3-0 on the year on the mound as he hurled his first no-hitter for the Spartans while striking out eight in their 7-0 victory over Modesto.

Michael Vaquera (East Bakersfield): Batted in six runs for a career high on one home run and a triple in a 18-8 over Highland of Bakersfield in a Southeast Yosemite League game.

Andrew Wright (Big Valley, Bieber): A grand slam isn't that rare of a thing but in a 14-8 win over Millenium his grand slam came without the ball clearing a fence as it was a inside-the-park grand slam.
George Yeomans (Oaks Christian, Westlake Christian): Yeomans hit two dingers in a 17-6 win over Bishop Diego of Santa Barbara.

Teagan Gerhart (Norco): The Stanford-bound senior allowed just two hits and fanned 13 while hitting a home run to beat El Toro (Lake Forest), 1-0, after no-hitting Pacifica with five Ks earlier in the Nike Faster to First Classic. When she did give up just one hit, she fanned 17 in a 1-0 win over Carl Sandburg (Orland Park, Ill.) and when Ayala (Chino Hills) got two hits, she fanned 10 and drove in the winning run in the 9th inning.
Kari Gutierrez (Rancho Alamitos): Can't get much better than going 4-for-4 with a triple, four RBI and three runs scored as the Vaqueros hammered San Juan Hills, 10-0.

Jennifer Manuel (Camarillo): She earned All-Tournament honors as the Faster to 1st Tournament (hosted by Canyon High School). She was 2-1 on the weekend and recorded wins over Freedom and Ayala.
