Michael Allain (Fullerton): Although Allain only gained 125 yards rushing, he scored four times in a 50-7 win over Buena Park. He also caught a 27-yard TD pass, giving him five scores on the night.

Jordan Arias & Keith Hansen (Agoura, Agoura Hills): Arias passed for 388 yards with Hansen pulling in 11 passes for 226 yards and a TD, but it was all for naught in a 34-31 setback to Simi Valley.

Dominique Barnes (Burbank, Burroughs):
During a 76-20 rout of Glendale Hoover, Barnes rushed for 203 yards and a whopping seven touchdowns. He did most of his damage early, as he only carried the ball 15 times and actually scored on six straight lugs in the first half. His scoring rushes were from 1, 9, 55, 6, 34, 29 and 1 yards out.

Eric Beverly & Deshon Marmon (Lincoln, San Francisco): This duo broke the hearts of cross-town arch-rival Washington Eagles' fans as they combined for 314 yards rushing in a come from behind 35-21 home victory in the 63rd Annual Bell Game. Junior Beverly carried 33 times for 182 yards, including a 33-yard touchdown run. Senior Marmon scored twice on runs of 62 and 39 yards and finished with 125 yards on only four carries.

Devon Blackmon (Summit, Fontana): The Skyhawks went to 6-0 behind Blackmon, who gained 206 yards on 17 rushes, scoring twice. He passed 300 total yards on the season as well by passing for an additional 95 yards.

Brant Botill (Corcoran):
Scored three touchdowns on 29 and 70-yard runs, and caught a 5-yard pass for his third touchdown of the game, on 13 carries for 263 yards as Corcoran stayed unbeaten for the season (6-0) by a 60-0 score over Orosi in a East Sequoia League game.

James Boyd (Jordan, Los Angeles): Stat star regular was at it again last week, as the USC bound Boyd completed 26 of 44 passes for 424 yards and six touchdowns in a 42-0 victory over Bell. Boyd also rushed for 74 yards on eight carries to account for a whopping 498 total yards. The school record for total yards accounted for with at least 50 yards rushing is held by Jerry Jackson, who accounted for 509 yards during a 62-27 victory over South Gate in 2005. Through six games, Boyd has passed for 2,170 yards and 20 touchdowns for a Jordan team that plays Roosevelt for first place in the Eastern League this week. Top-notch junior DeShawn Beck also had a big game with two touchdown receptions and an interception on defense while Patrick Wooten contributed nine solo tackles and two assists.

Josh Brennan (Pacifica, Garden Grove): Rushed for 242 yards but it wasn't enough as Valencia of Placentia rolled to a 36-22 win.

Brandon Buteyn (Paraclete, Lancaster): In a 38-12 Olympic League win against Whittier Christian, the senior rushed for a season-high 279 yards, scoring three touchdowns on 26 carries. On the year, he now has 1,190 yards and eight touchdowns on 114 carries.

Jesse Callier (Warren, Downey): Set Warren's single-game school record by rushing for 340 yards during a 41-28 victory over a talented Lynwood team in the San Gabriel Valley League opener for both schools. He hit paydirt four times on 48 lugs, a carry total that makes the all-time single game list in our exclusive state record book. For the season, Callier has rushed for 1,172 yards and scored 14 TDs on 152 carries. Teammate Bailey Cowins also had a big game with a touchdown reception and two interceptions on defense.

Cody Clark (San Marcos, Santa Barbara): Tied a long-time state record shared by many as he scored on a 99-yard touchdown run. Unfortunately, it came in a losing effort as Ventura rolled to a 41-16. There have been seasons when two backs score on 99-yard jaunts in the same season, but we can't ever remember it occurring during the same week.

Sean Conrad (Malibu):
Talk about your scoring orgies. Conrad rushed for 308 yards on 33 carries, including four that went for TDs, as Malibu barely beat Grace Brethren of Simi Valley, 51-50. It was Conrad's third 300-yard game of the season.

Daymond Cowlah (Montclair Prep, Van Nuys):
The Mounties were once a small-school power but they now play eight-man football. It probably wouldn't have mattered if there were eight or 11 defenders to try and keep Cowlah out of the end zone last week. He rushed for 282 yards and scored seven touchdowns in a 70-42 victory over Hope Centre of Compton. Hope Centre had no hope against Cowlah as he scored five times on the ground, once on an interception return and another on a kickoff return. He also scored on four two-point conversions and picked off a grand total of four passes on defense.

Anthony Cox & Mike Exford (Foothill, Sacramento): Defense got the numbers in Foothill's 27-20 win over West Campus. Cox had four sacks and Exford made 13 tackles for the victors.

K.J. Cusack (St. Joseph, Santa Maria):
Had a great game for the Knights in a 55-6 Los Padres League victory over Nipomo. He scored four TDs in the following ways: 47-yard interception return for a score, 60-yard punt return, 84-yard kickoff return and 87-yard kickoff return. As a team, St. Joseph also blocked another punt for a touchdown and blocked a PAT attempt as well.

Patrick Cvengros & Josh Thompson (Lutheran, La Verne):
Cvengros was 16 of 24 for 215 yards and 6 TDs passing in addition to running in from 6 and 19 yards out in a 54-20 win over Temecula Prep. Thompson caught 10 passes for 135 yards and three TDs.

Deaveaione Davis & Johnathan Holmes (Washington, Los Angeles):
The Generals recorded a whopping 11 sacks during their 22-6 Marine League victory over Gardena. Davis got to the Panthers' QB four times and Holmes chipped in with three. That tied the reported L.A. City Section record for team sacks in a single game set by Venice in its 28-0 victory over Granada Hills in 2003.

Rick Davis, Kenny Teasley & Lurrell Johnson (Lindhurst, Olivehurst):
This trio from just south of the twin cities of Marysville and Yuba City in the Sacramento River Valley lit it up in a 54-14 win over Golden Sierra of Garden Valley. Senior 6-foot, 190-pound quarterback Davis threw for five touchdowns and 350 yards on 14 of 18 passing. Teasley caught eight of the passes for 252 yards and four touchdowns, including an 82-yarder. Johnson, a 5-6, 175-pound running back, had his lowest output of the season with 102 yards and two scores. He now has 1,010 yards and 12 touchdowns in six games.

Duke DeLancellotti (San Clemente): In a wild 41-31 win over Dana Hills to keep the Tritons' perfect record intact, DeLancellotti was 26-40 for 343 yards and three TDs. He ran for a TD as well. Graham Tenney accounted for 154 of those receiving yards.

Jourdan Del Biaggio (Ferndale): Coach Kim Jorgensen always seems to have a bull-nosed rusher on his perennial top-notch small school powerhouse teams. This year, it's this 6-foot-1, 187-pound senior. We missed him last week and the boys from behind the Redwood Curtain are off the next two weeks so we threw him into this week's group. Jorgensen and the Wildcats have petitioned up to NCS Div. IV even with 150 students, to strengthen their bowl case should they win the title, even though they're already the No. 2 team in the CalHiSports.com CIF Small School State Bowl Game Rankings. In order to make it happen, Del Biaggio will have to continue what he's doing. Two weeks ago against McKinleyville, he ran for 206 yards and two touchdowns in a 33-6 victory. Used sparingly in some games (with Ferndale outscoring opponents 241-42) Del Biaggio still has 768 yards and 11 touchdowns and is averaging over 8 yards per carry.

Blake Edwards (Poly, Pasadena): Sophomore back led his team to a 28-14 victory over Flintridge Prep of La Canada with 227 yards rushing on 27 carries with touchdown runs of 56 and five yards.

Ryan Flores (Sierra, Manteca): Option QB accounted for 295 yards of rushing and passing to lead the Timberwolves (5-1) past Central Valley of Ceres, 31-28. Flores got most of his yardage on the ground with 30 carries for 210
yards.

James Flynn (Notre Dame, Sherman Oaks): The Serra League pass-catching leader with 29 catches, 713 yards and nine TDs in six games racked up six receptions for 160 yards and one TD in Notre Dame's 44-17 win last week against Alemany of Mission Hills. Flynn already holds the school record for yards per game with 183 last season and has four other records for ND receivers.

Tate Forcier (Scripps Ranch, San Diego): The Michigan-bound quarterback threw for 300 yards for the second straight week and finished with 444 yards of total offense in a 40-36 win over St. Augustine. Forcier completed 18-of-33 passes for 321 yards and a touchdown. Tate also rushed 14 times for 123 yards with touchdown runs of 1, 53 and 47 yards. St. Augustine is the alma mater of his two older brothers that are now college quarterbacks. Jason is a backup junior at Stanford and Chris a backup redshirt freshman at UCLA.

Tim Gilmore (Wilson, Hacienda Heights): Gilmore rushed for 245 yards, but Rowland High made sure he didn't break off too many big runs as his yardage came on 33 carries and in a losing effort. Gilmore had a 60-yard scoring run and a 55-yard run, but Rowland won, 41-13.

Albert Garcia (Silver Creek, San Jose): After losing their first three games, the Raiders have won three straight since beginning West Valley League action and Garcia has been over 200 yards in each of the victories. Three weeks ago, he rushed for 220 yards and two touchdowns in a 26-0 blanking of San Jose Lick. Two weeks ago in a 45-41 offensively explosive victory over Overfelt (San Jose), he had 326 yards and three scores. Last week in a 40-6 blowout of San Jose, Garcia scored three times again and finished with 202 yards on 22 carries.

David Graves, Andrew Benavides & Tyler Trosin (Folsom): All three had at least three touchdowns last week. Quarterback Graves has made this list twice before this season, but last week's performance in a 63-13 blowout of Jesuit (Carmichael) is his best performance so far in a 6-0 season for the Bulldogs. He finished a pinpoint 18 of 22 for 397 yards and five touchdowns. Benavides, who scored four total touchdowns, was his favorite target. The 5-foot-9, 175-pound senior wideout caught eight passes for 270 yards and three touchdowns, including a 75-yarder. He also returned a kickoff 98 yards to paydirt. Trosin, a sophomore tailback, rushed for two TDs and scored a third on a pass from Graves.

Jose Guzman (Norwalk): Reached the end zone four times on the ground and added a fifth score on a 27-yard pass to lead his team to a 53-14 Suburban League victory over Cerritos.

Ian Harriman & Jay Waddell (Hesperia): Harrison was 8 of 12 for 211 yards and 4 TDs passing while Waddell caught five for 170 yards and three of those TDs in a 50-0 win over cross-town Sultana in the 13th annual Key Game.

Jordan Heines & Kenny Wilson (San Juan, Citrus Heights): Heines ran for four touchdowns and Wilson recovered a fumble and had three sacks in San Juan's 42-28 win over Highlands of North Highlands.

Caleb Herring (Citrus Hill, Perris): He was an amazing 12-of-14 for 348 yards and four TDs two weeks ago in a 48-17 win by unbeaten Citrus Hill over Notre Dame of Riverside. Junior running back Deontae Cooper had 18 carries for 208 yards and three TDs plus a 70-yard TD on a reception in the same game. Neither player has appeared in a game in the fourth quarter so far this year due to Citrus Hill being so far ahead of its opponents.

LaDon Hudson (Inderkum, Sacramento): Inderkum is out to a 5-1 start and Hudson was a big reason it got the fifth win in a 41-13 Tri-County League opening win over River Valley of Yuba City. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound tight end/linebacker had 13 tackles and an interception, and caught a touchdown pass.

Derall Hunter (Mount Miguel, Spring Valley): The Matadors' junior running back rushed for 338 yards and six touchdowns in a 49-35 win over Granite Hills. It was a night he no doubt impressed a couple of famous Granite Hills running back alums -- Tommy Vardell and Brian Giles. Vardell played at Stanford and in the NFL, while Giles is better known as a veteran outfielder with the San Diego Padres. The late Joe Roth also had his number retired.

Stefphon Jefferson (El Diamante, Visalia): Continues to have an outstanding senior year by scoring four touchdowns on runs of 51, 5, 20 and 5 yards, good for 214 yards on 34 carries, against Lemoore. The Miners won the West Yosemite League game, 41-28.

Ken Johnston (Carmel): This 6-1, 180-pound senior quarterback accounted for seven touchdowns and 363 yards of total offense in a 62-7 demolition of Stevenson of neighboring Pebble Beach. Johnston completed 12 of 20 passes for 273 yards and five touchdowns including an 80-yard strike. On the ground, he rushed for 90 yards on five carries, finding paydirt twice. The reported Central Coast Section passing leader now has 1,586 yards in the air with 22 touchdowns. On the ground he has gained 307 yards with five touchdowns. Combined its 1,893 yards and 27 touchdowns.

Collin Keoshian (Santa Clarita Christian, Canyon Country): Rushed for 221 yards and two TDs. Not enough? He caught passes for 75 yards and another TD. Alas, it wasn't enough as Thatcher came out on top, 54-38.

Bronson Ketchum (Bell-Jeff, Burbank): St. Monica of Santa Monica couldn't contain Bell Jeff's Bronson Ketchum, as he rushed for 266 yards and four touchdowns on 15 carries. He let everyone know what kind of night it was going to be when he scored on a 63-yard run on the first play from scrimmage in his team's 33-0 victory.

James Lee & Jeremiah Oates (Capital Christian, Sacramento): This duo performed well but the Cougars still dropped a 49-35 slugfest to Placer of Auburn. Lee completed 24 of 39 passes for 307 yards and three touchdowns, and Oates caught five passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns, forced a fumble and had a fumble recovery in the loss.

Deantre Lewis (Norco): Lewis was unstoppable as he gained 321 yards on 21 carries, including six touchdowns, to lead Norco in an upset of J.W. North of Riverside.

Cameron Loeffler (Exeter): Set a new school record by scoring seven touchdowns, six coming in the first half, with 243 yards rushing in a 63-0 win over Immanuel of Reedley. Loeffler touched the ball only one more time in the second half and returned a kickoff 82 yards for his seventh TD of the night.

Jaime Lucio (West Valley, Hemet):
Drilled five field goals, with three of them from beyond 47 yards, to lead the Mustangs past Paloma, 29-16. Lucio was good from 47, 33, 48, 47 and 37 yards out.

Dawan Marzett (Westchester, Los Angeles): The Comets' defensive end had a great game during a 20-0 victory over University of Los Angeles. He was credited with 11 solo tackles, two sacks and nine assists.

Stephon Mathis (Merced): The 5-1 Bears have depended on Mathis all season and the 5-10, 195-pound senior has come through very nicely including a stellar performance during a 56-18 blasting of Buhach Colony of Atwater. In last week's game Mathis rushed for 208 yards on only 10 carries with four touchdowns. On the season his totals running the ball are 1,019 yards with 15 touchdowns on only 109 carries.

J.J. Mayer (Trabuco Hills, Mission Viejo):
Mayer passed for 316 yards by completing 12 of 19 and a pair of touchdowns in a 16-10 win over El Toro.

Trevor Mew & Deangelo Williams (Central Valley, Ceres): This duo from the Modesto neighboring town of over 40,000 played well but the team came up short in a 31-28 loss to Sierra of Manteca. Quarterback Mew, the reported Sac-Joaquin Section passing leader with 1,808 yards on the season, threw for 330 yards on 21 of 27 with four touchdowns. Wide receiver Williams picked up 227 yards on six catches, including a 70-yard pass, only four days after the passing of his father. Unfortunately for the Hawks' faithful, Mew couldn't find him in the end zone or the birds of prey might have won.

Byron Moore (Narbonne, Harbor City): The USC bound Moore is playing like an all-state player as he picked off two passes to lead the Gauchos to a 35-7 Marine League victory over Banning of Wilmington. He also had five receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown and hopes to have another big game this week when the 5-1 Gauchos battle 6-0 San Pedro. The winner just might emerge as the favorite to win the L.A. City Section title.

Mike Moreno (Roseville): This big, strong 6-foot, 208-pound quarterback did most of the damage in a 42-6 Tiger win over cross-town rival Oakmont. He had six touchdowns total with four coming on 9 of 15 passing for 163 yards, and two coming via the ground with 76 yards rushing.

Darius Nacoste (Valley, Santa Ana Valley): Rolled up 241 yards as the Falcons soared past Century of Santa Ana, 36-0.

Lyle Negron (Murrieta Valley, Murrieta):
Went 22 of 36 for 265 yards and one TD in addition to running for a TD, but it wasn't enough as Chaparral of Temecula recorded a 19-14 win over the Nighthawks. Jonathon Diaz played well for the victorious Pumas with 206 yards rushing on 31 carries and TDs of 30, 1 and 40 yards.

Byron Newman (Golden Valley, Bakersfield): Rushed for a career-high of 270 yards on 23 carries, good for two touchdowns of 85, 56 yards, but Golden Valley still lost 34-28 to Highland of Bakersfield. QB Dylan Finch also had an outstanding game by completing 19 of 33 for 269 and two scores. Alan Roy led Highland with 182 yards on 19 carries and three touchdowns, one coming on a 91-yard pass reception from quarterback Ryean Johnson.

Corey Nielsen (Gahr, Cerritos): Last year's state passing leader threw for 317 yards and four touchdowns as the Gladiators beat Dominguez of Compton, 42-35. The Dons, who are now 0-6, were handed their first on-the-field San Gabriel Valley League loss in 23 games. They dropped a 27-16 game to Downey in 2002 and had actually won 42 of their last 43 games in SGVL play before Nielsen led Gahr to victory.

Randall Nygren (La Habra): Not only did Nygren complete 13 of 15 passes for 213 yards and three TDs, he also ran for two more in a 62-0 rout of rival Sonora.

Jonathan Rojas & Cole Martinez (Wilson, Los Angeles): Rojas tossed five touchdown passes in the Mules' 42-14 victory over Belmont of Los Angeles. He passed for 289 yards and three of his touchdowns went to Martinez, who finished with eight receptions for 134 yards. Martinez also picked off two passes from his defensive back position.

Kevin Ramay (Grace Brethren, Simi Valley): Completed 28 of 42 passes for 440 yards and three TDs, also running for two scores, in a losing effort as Malibu took home the one-point victory, 51-50.

Josh Ramos (Redwood, Visalia): Set a school record and tied a state record held by many players by running 99 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter against Tulare in a non-league game. It was the only highlight in a 41-13 loss by the Rangers to the Redskins.

Bradley Randle (Vista Murrieta, Murrieta): Accounted for four touchdowns in a 41-26 victory over Temescal Canyon of Lake Elsinore. Randle gained 327 yards rushing on 24 carries, including TDs of 12, 52 and 3 yards. He added a 42-yard TD reception. He is the son of former MLB player Lenny Randle, who also played on Arizona State's 1969 NCAA championship baseball team and scored six touchdowns on kickoff and punt returns for the Sun Devils' football team.

Desi Rodriguez (Saugus): Using his legs as well as his arm, Rodriguez gained 188 yards on 14 carries, in addition to passing for 95 yards and two touchdowns in a 55-20 win over Hart of Newhall. Rodriguez also intercepted a pass on defense. Running back Ryan Zirbel also had 184 yards rushing to help the Centurions defeat Hart for the first time ever in Foothill League play and the first time since 1991 when they competed in the Golden League.

Robbie Rouse (Madison, San Diego):
The diminutive running back topped 200 yards rushing for the third straight game as he carried 12 times for 213 yards and two touchdowns in the Warhawks' 53-19 win over Morse of San Diego. He previously rushed for 214 yards in a win over Santana and 270 in a win over Coronado. Madison is 6-0 and 2-0 in the Central League.

Tanner Rust (El Capitan, Lakeside): The senior quarterback completed 22-of-40 passes for 294 yards and two touchdowns while also kicking three field goals in the Vaqueros' 29-21 win over Grossmont. His field goals were 29, 40 and 39 yards, with the last two in the fourth quarter.

Alex Sachs (Woodland): The Wolves evened their record at 3-3 and this kicker was the reason. Sachs booted two field goals, including a 43-yarder with three seconds to play, in Woodland's 25-23 victory over Yuba City.

Lyndell Scarr (Ponderosa, Shingle Springs): The Bruins got over the .500 mark at 4-3 and a major reason was the pounding running of this junior back. The 5-10, 190-pounder went over the 200-yard mark for the fourth time this season, rushing for 211 yards and two touchdowns on 21 carries in Ponderosa's 35-7 win over Vista del Lago of Folsom. On the season, Scarr has now grinded out 1,168 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Ricky Seale (Escondido): The son of the former NFL defensive back carried 27 times for 296 yards with four touchdowns in a 55-28 win over Torrey Pines in an Avocado League game. The junior running back scored on runs of 1, 8, 56 and 31 yards.

Taylor Sloat (Fall River, McArthur):
There can't be too many 6-foot-4, 205-pound high school juniors in the area 100 miles northeast of Redding on Highway 299. It's no wonder Sloat is literally head and shoulders above most everyone in the far north and the No. 2 reported passer from the Northern Section. Last week in a 68-16 victory over Hayfork that got the Bulldogs to 5-2 on the season, Sloat passed for 308 yards on 9 of 13 attempts with four touchdowns, including a 75-yarder. He now has 1,168 yards passing this year.

Andrew Steele (West Campus, Sacramento): In a 27-20 losing effort against cross-town Foothill, the man of Steele had 17 tackles and a fumble recovery for West Campus.

Ryan Stillwell (Leigh, San Jose): We missed this 6-foot, 190-pound signal caller two weeks ago when he passed for 386 yards and three touchdowns in a 49-13 win over Westmont of Campbell. This week he threw for 290 yards but the Longhorns lost 18-15 to cross-town Mount Hamilton League rival Pioneer.

Brett Thompson (Oak Ridge, El Dorado Hills): This 6-foot-3, 210-pound senior started the season at wide receiver but has been moved to running back. We missed him last week but found him this time after a 15 carry 206-yard, six touchdown performance in the Trojans win over Cordova of Rancho Cordova. His longest run was a 75-yard scamper to paydirt. Two weeks ago, he went for 244 yards and three touchdowns in a 30-7 win over Union Mine of El Dorado. Those past two games are Oak Ridge's only wins this season. Thompson also plays on the basketball team where last season he averaged 10 points and three rebounds per game.

Jordan Thompson (Valencia): The 5-foot-9 Thompson stood tall en route to rushing for 304 yards and four TDs on just 23 carries to lift Valencia past Foothill League foe Canyon of Canyon Country, 49-29. In the past two games, Thompson has scored seven touchdowns.

Shawn Tucker (Laguna Hills, Laguna Beach): His two interceptions and a fumble recovery keyed a 34-7 win over Corona del Mar of Newport Beach.

John Uribe (Santa Barbara): In the Dons' spread attack, Uribe has torching defenses and it wasn't any different in their Channel League opener against Dos Pueblos of Goleta. He completed 33 passes in 51 attempts, good for 395 yards, in Santa Barbara's 29-17 victory. His completion total set a single game county record after his 581-yard performance two weeks ago set another county record. Bryson Lloyd was Uribe's No. 1 target with 14 catches for 145 yards and grid-hoop star Roberto Nelson added 141 yards receiving on eight receptions.

Isaac Valdez (San Gabriel): This Matador shredded apart Keppel of Alhambra to the tune of 336 yards and three touchdowns in a 35-0 shutout win. Valdez completed 21 of 26 passes and directed an offense that gained 635 yards against the porous Keppel defense.

Daniel Vargas (Bell Gardens): Churned for 223 yards rushing on 23 carries during a 45-20 Almont League victory over Montebello. The junior running back scored three times on touchdown runs of 10, 50 and one yard.

Cole White (Bear River, Grass Valley):
The No. 2 reported leading tackler in the Sac-Joaquin Section had a huge game, but it wasn't enough as the team fell to 4-2 with a 25-13 loss to Whitney of Rocklin. The 5-foot-9, 194-pound junior linebacker had 19 tackles and a sack. On the season, he has 90 tackles, a sack and a blocked field goal.

John White (South Torrance): Three weeks after rushing for six touchdowns in a victory over Palos Verdes, White was at it again last week during a 49-13 Pioneer League victory over Lawndale. He scored five touchdowns and finished with 183 yards rushing on 19 carries.

Marquise Williams (Monrovia): Scored two touchdowns and finished with 244 yards rushing on 18 carries in a 13-7 victory over Temple City.

Tim Wilson (Canoga Park): The Hunters corralled the Wolves and sophomore Wilson led the charge. He rushed for 232 yards on 31 carries and scored two touchdowns in Canoga's 32-20 victory. During the past three games, he's rushed for 527 yards.
