• Michigan's Rich Rodriguez made a valid point when telling some college football fans to "Get a life," but a well-paid coach shouldn't be bringing up the economy when trying to make his point about perspective, the Detroit Free Press' Jamie Samuelsen writes in his blog. 

"He's trying to say that 'it's only a game' and we should really put it in perspective. Really? In that case, would you be willing to pay back your million-dollar salary? Because isn't the economics professor or the med school prof just a little more important than the football coach? Football is vitally important to people, which is why you make so much money."
