West Virginia will likely hold Pat White out of today's game against Syracuse and start Jarrett Brown at quarterback instead, according to the Charleston Gazette.

White left last week's game against Rutgers after getting hit in the helmet. Though coach Bill Stewart insisted all week that White did not suffer a concussion and was fine, the two-time Big East Offensive Player of the Year never went through contact drills in practice this week.

Brown has one career start, coming at the end of the 2006 season when he led the team to victory over Rutgers. He has been playing a lot as a running back and wide receiver the past two games.
