Hey fellow blog brothers. I feel like I'm not giving you guys nearly enough love. So occasionally, I'll try to spotlight some of the best stuff I've seen recently.

And please don't hesitate to let me know if there's something noteworthy you think other readers would be interested in.

Here goes ...

  • Rock M Nation turns analytical in a roundtable discussion about Missouri's struggling pass defense.
  • A nice preview about the Texas Tech-Nevada game turns up on Double T Nation. Thanks, Seth! I'm sure I'll use this as I get ready for my trip to Reno this weekend.
  • Might still be a tad early, but Texas A&M's Mike Sherman turns up in the No. 2 spot with a bullet on the hottest college football seats on coacheshotseat.com. Kansas State's Ron Prince is at No. 27 and Iowa State's Gene Chizik is at No. 36 as the only other Big 12 coaches who are considered with a hot seat.
  • The guys at the Ralphie Report said they woke up with cold chills this morning on the second anniversary of the darkest day in Colorado football history -- Montana State.
  • The blog Statistically Speaking has Mike Sherman and the Kansas running game among those nominated for having the worst week.
  • Disco Tech blogs about the rising cost of attracting Football Championship Series opponents.
  • The writers at Land Thieves, a blog about Oklahoma, swear they will never come back if Oklahoma ever plays a team as bad as Chattanooga again.
  • Kansas Football-It's Business ranks the Jayhawks' game against Louisiana Tech as the third-most competitive in the Big 12 on Saturday behind Oklahoma-Cincinnati and Oklahoma State-Houston.

Missouri Tigers, Texas Tech Red Raiders, Texas A&M Aggies, Mike Sherman, Kansas State Wildcats, Ron Prince, Iowa State Cyclones, Gene Chizik, Colorado Buffaloes, Kansas Jayhawks, Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma State Cowboys
