We had three major stories in the AFC West this week for our "you pick it" this week.

You choose which one was the bigger story and tell us why. The guidelines are simple. Hit my mailbag with your choice. I will post some of your responses later in the week.

Here are the choices:

Chargers bow out: The San Diego Chargers' roller coaster season ended in the AFC divisional playoffs Sunday with a 35-24 loss at Pittsburgh. The loss snapped a five-game win streak for San Diego which became the first 4-8 team ever to make the playoffs.

Broncos replace Shanahan with a youngster: Denver hired New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels to be its new head coach 12 days after its shocking firing of Mike Shanahan. Shanahan had ruled the roost in Denver for 14 years. McDaniels is 32 and is the youngest coach in the NFL.

Chiefs hire Pioli: The Chiefs scored the most sought after general manager candidate in New England executive Scott Pioli. Many around the league believe the move makes the Chiefs relevant again.

San Diego Chargers, Denver Broncos, Kansas City Chiefs, New England Patriots, Josh McDaniel, Mike Shanahan, Scott Pioli
