Here is this week's "you pick it" candidates. Remember, the guidelines are simple. Hit my mailbag and vote for what you think is the story of the week. I will post some of your responses later in the week.
Here are the candidates:
Chargers beat the Colts: The San Diego Chargers became the hottest team in the NFL by beating Indianapolis 23-17 in overtime in the wild card round on Saturday night. It was the Chargers' fifth straight win. The Colts had a nine-game winning streak snapped in the game. The Chargers will now face Pittsburgh in the AFC divisional round Sunday.
Broncos begin process to replace Mike Shanahan: The Broncos have interviewed six candidates for the job including New York Giants defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo and New England offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels.
Pioli interviews in Kansas City: The Chiefs began the process to replace general manager Carl Peterson with Scott Pioli, a high respected executive with New England. If the Chiefs hire Pioli they will become instantly relevant in the league.
