In a statement released by the team, Chargers starting wide receiver Vincent Jackson said he doesn't expect to be charged for drunken driving. He was arrested early Tuesday morning in the San Diego area. It was reportedly his second arrest for DUI.

Here is Jackson's statement: "This morning I was stopped by an officer. I don't think any charges will be filed as a result of the stop. In the event they are, I look forward to clearing my name and proving my innocence."

The Chargers are preparing for an AFC divisional playoff game at Pittsburgh on Sunday. If Jackson is charged and convicted, he is likely to be subject to some type of NFL disciplinary action.
